Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our client’s team on a full-time permanent basis. As a Telehealth Psychiatrist, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, and ongoing care to patients through a virtual platform. Responsibilities: Conduct psychiatric assessments and develop personalised treatment plans for patients via telehealth appointments. Provide medication management and adjustments as necessary, in collaboration with patients and their primary care providers. Offer therapy and counseling services, utilising evidence-based practices to address a variety of mental health concerns. Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure integrated care and optimal patient outcomes. Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay abreast of advancements in the field of psychiatry and telehealth. Requirements: Medical degree from an accredited institution and board certification in Psychiatry. Full specialist AHPRA registration (agency can support to gain AHPRA) Demonstrated experience providing psychiatric care, preferably in a telehealth setting. Strong diagnostic and treatment skills, with proficiency in evidence-based practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a compassionate and patient-centered approach. Comfortable utilising teleconferencing technology and electronic health records systems. Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards of practice.
