Job Title: Consultant Psychiatrist Specialty: Forensic Band / Grade: Consultant Location: Essex Salary: £160,000 per annum Description: We have an exciting opportunity for a Permanent Forensic Consultant Psychiatrist to join a private hospital based in Essex. This full time permanent position is based in a long stay low secure rehab ward, with working hours of 37.5 hours per week. The role is available to start as soon as possible but can accommodate notice periods of up to 3 months. The position offers a competitive salary of £160,000 per annum. This hospital is a specialist low secure forensic service for men who are over the age of 50. Care is provided over two wards, both of which are 13 bedded male units and offer an age appropriate environment for those who also have a mental health/personality disorder and/or dementia, in need of physical health care needs. The hospital is set in its own attractive grounds of over 9 acres near the town of Romford in Essex. Convenient access is provided by the M25, and the nearby underground station at Theydon Bois, which is on the Central Line, or rail station at Romford. Clinical caseload: currently at 21 beds and it's not been full in the last 12 months, long stay low secure rehab ward, low intensity of work.
