Summary
A Locum Interventional Radiologist is needed for a long-term agency role in Gloucester, where the ideal candidate will be supporting the respective service(s) for a period of at least 6-12 months.
Additional information
To be considered for this role, you must be an experienced Consultant Interventional Radiologist who can demonstrate your skills and knowledge in a clinical environment; and your written and spoken English must be of a very good standard to ensure communication is not a problem. The role would include vascular and non-vascular intervention. Day-time work includes: biopsies, drainages, Urology work (nephrostomies, ureteric stents,) PTCs, peripheral and aortic vascular interventions. Emergency and on-call work includes: management of sepsis and haemorrhage, so the above spectrum of procedures plus embolisations. If an individual has a specific area of interest, or would need support in a specific area, we may be able to support, although this would probably require discussion with the individual to understand needs and expectations.
